Our Story
Dubuque Hardwoods/Dubuque Mulch is a 3rd generation, family owned and operated business, proudly serving the tri-state area for over 40 years. Established in 1977 by Syd and Bob Miller, DHI has a long standing tradition of quality sales and service. Originally a fully integrated saw mill, Dubuque Hardwoods/Dubuque Mulch now specializes in natural hardwood mulch, color enhanced mulch, decorative stone and rock, and bulk material transport.
Dubuque Mulch is conveniently located just minutes from downtown Dubuque on Hwy 52 S towards Bellevue. We are situated in an old rock quarry, 1.4 miles from the Hwy151/ 61/52 intersection on the left hand side, directly across from Kemp Road.
